Travelling onward from Lisbon: what to expect
We are a long-distance transfer service. Guests book us when they are moving between regions — Lisbon to Porto, the Douro, the Alentejo, the Algarve or across the border into Spain — and want the whole journey pre-arranged, in one comfortable vehicle, with one driver and one price agreed in advance.
If your onward journey begins the moment you land or step off a ship, we can start it there: your driver meets you with a name sign and you continue directly to your destination in another region. What we do not do is short hops between the airport or cruise terminal and a Lisbon hotel — that is a job for a local taxi, and we will say so honestly.
For longer journeys — Porto, the Douro, the Alentejo or the Algarve — the drive itself becomes part of the holiday. Ask for a scenic transfer and we build in stops worth making rather than motorway service stations.

- How much is a private long-distance transfer from Lisbon?
- It depends on the destination, the number of passengers and whether you add scenic stops along the route. Send us your route and dates and you will have a firm, fixed price the same day — agreed in writing before you travel, with no meters and no surcharges.
- Do you offer short airport transfers into Lisbon city?
- No. We are a long-distance transfer service. We can collect you at Lisbon Airport when your journey continues to another region — Porto, the Douro, the Alentejo or the Algarve — but we do not run short hops between the airport and a Lisbon hotel.
- Can our long journey start straight from the airport or cruise terminal?
- Yes, when it is the starting point of a long-distance journey. Your driver meets you inside arrivals with a name sign, helps with luggage and you set off directly for your onward destination.
- Do you provide child seats?
- Yes, free of charge. Tell us the ages and we fit the correct baby, toddler or booster seats before you arrive.
- Can we add sightseeing stops to a long transfer?
- That is the best way to travel between cities. On the Lisbon–Porto route we usually include up to three stops such as Óbidos, Nazaré, Batalha or Coimbra, turning a drive into a day.
- Do you collect from Porto or Faro airports?
- Only as part of a long-distance or cross-border journey. Short local hops at those airports are better served locally — we will always tell you honestly.
- How many passengers and suitcases fit in the vehicle?
- Up to six guests with luggage in Eduardo's Mercedes-Benz V-Class 220d, which seats six passengers plus the driver. Larger parties travel together in a second licensed vehicle with a second driver.
- How do we pay for a transfer?
- You confirm by WhatsApp or email and settle at the end of the journey, or in advance if you prefer. The price is agreed in writing beforehand and never changes.
